MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived research peptide studied for its potential role in cellular energy, metabolism and physical performance. Mitochondria act as the body’s cellular “power stations,” helping convert nutrients into usable energy.

Researchers are interested in MOTS-c because early studies suggest it may help cells respond to metabolic stress and influence how the body processes glucose and uses energy.
